Chinese school is brutal at the moment. So much homework. I’ve been working all evening and I’ve still got loads more to do. I am writing a story in Chinese about the insufferable Ma Dawei and his ambitions to get a larger flat so that his new girlfriend can visit more often. After that, there are reading and voice exercises to do. Bah. This is going to leak into tomorrow evening, I can tell. 1 Chinese point.

Dawei’s Girlfriend

Ma Dawei meets Song Hua. Dawei went to hospital and took Chinese medicine but he still feels ill. Song Hua tells him to rest. Dawei wants to tell Song Hua something. He has met a beautiful girl. They spend much time together and she’s willing to be Dawei’s girlfriend. However, there is a problem. Dawei’s dormitory is too small. He is not happy. His girlfriend will be able to visit often if he rents a flat. He wants to rent a flat with a kitchen, a toilet and rent that’s not too expensive. Song Hua is willing to go to the rental agency with Dawei on Saturday.
